Twilight Training

RHS Campaign for School Gardening twilight training
 – Autumn Term 09
If you are a teacher, teaching assistant or parent helper we would like to invite you to a free training session to be held at your nearest Campaign for School Gardening Partner or ‘Associate’  School.  We can accommodate up to 2 participants from each school attending the training, subject to a maximum of 25 overall

Weaving a ‘Gardening thread’ through your school curriculum 4 – 5.30pm

  • What to sow and grow this autumn term - RHS Top Crops that work well in schools
  • Weaving a gardening thread through your school curriculum - using  school case studies
  • Hands-on autumn gardening activity  - have fun learning how to sow autumn veg, flowers and bulbs

The focus of the training is to gain gardening skills, swap ideas with other teachers that are gardening in schools and to see how we can weave a gardening thread through your school curriculum so that gardening is used as a teaching resource.
There will be a focus on the RHS Campaign for School Gardening Benchmarking Scheme so schools can progress their gardens with this scheme of good practice.
