Green spaces to enjoy with your children!
3 February 2010
Highfields Church
If you have no school garden (or even if you do) but would still like to get your children enjoying some other green spaces and learning about their local environment then this is the day for you! We will give you lots of ideas for activities and learning opportunities in woodlands and cemeteries (yes, you’d be surprised what they have to offer!) so you need not miss out on the joy of learning outdoors with your children. The day will include a trip to Nant Fawr Woodland and Cathays Cemetery in Cardiff so please dress accordingly as well advice from a park ranger on ways they can assist you in your own visits if you would like some more help or support. We will need to drive to Nant Fawr from the course venue so when you book we would like to know if you will bring a car or if you require a lift. Please let us know, thank you!
