Description

Large deciduous shrub with a spreading crown and broad oval leaves turning yellow in autumn. Flowers bright sulphur-yellow, with relatively broad petals and some scentûûNote after reconfirmation:ûRaised at RHS Garden Wisley, thought to be the best sulphur yellow cultivar for garden use. The original plant can still be seen on Battleston Hill and is thought to have been a chance seedling. A spreading shrub, it can reach 3m x 4m. Flowering from early to midwinter, it is sweetly scented
