Description

1993 description: Vigorous twining large deciduous shrub with dark green, oval leaves whitish beneath. Flowers to 4cm long, deep red-purple outside, yellow within, in terminal clusters. Berries redû2011 description: Flowers mid and late summer. Height: 7m. Robust and very floriferous climber. Mid green leaves with paler undersides and purple midrib. Purple-red buds opening to pale pink to white flowers with yellow tips. “An excellent cultivar. Sets the standard by which all should be judged”
