Spring is in sight

Wisteria not flowering?

It’s one of our most popular questions: how do I get my wisteria to bloom? The answer often lies in correct pruning, both now and in summer. The technique is simple; just be careful if scaling ladders.

Restore overgrown hedges

Unless you have a conifer hedge, most can be cut back hard now to bring them back inbounds. Beech, yew, hornbeam, hawthorn all respond well, particularly if you carry out the pruning over several seasons.
