Fl. star-shaped, 43mm wide, deep yellow; perianth segments 17mm long, oblong in outline, acute at apex, mucronate, reflexed, plane, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments a little narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, angled, mouth ribbed and a little constricted, with rim irregularly notched and widely flanged.
