Fl. 118mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments 55mm long, in several whorls; the outer two whorls opposite and closely overlying one another, broadly ovate, truncate, mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, margins incurved or folded along midrib; corona segments 35mm long, interspersed among the inner petaloid whorls, margins wavy, with rim minutely crenate.
