Perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, smooth and of heavy substance; the outer whorl ovate, blunt, yellow 9A, with pale mucro, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, overlapping at base; the inner whorls a little narrower, successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, less prominently mucronate; the inner perianth segments concave; corona segments half as long as the outer perianth segments, interspersed among the inner perianth segments and clustered at centre, orange-yellow 14A, frilled.
