Description |
Fl. 90mm wide; perianth segments in three whorls, greenish white 155A; the outer whorl 35mm long, broadly ovate, rounded at apex, prominently mucronate, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, with margins incurling or irregularly folded; corona segments 20mm long, brilliant yellow 8A, interspersed among the two inner perianth whorls and clustered at centre, heavily frilled and crenate. Early. Strongly scented |
