Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 90mm wide; perianth segments 34mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, plane, with margins slightly incurling, creased and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments ovate, shouldered at base, scarcely mucronate; corona segments 18mm long, orange, split to more than half its length into six segments, each closely overlying a perianth segment forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, as broad as the inner segments, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, frilled. Mid-season. Sunproof. Sweetly scented |
