Fl. star-shaped, 42mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 8mm long, lanceolate, acute, opening yellow, maturing to white with yellow towards base, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; corona 30mm long, funnel-shaped, ribbed, yellow, constricted near mouth, mouth wavy and shallowly lobed, with rim minutely crenate.
