Fl. rounded; perianth segments roundish, very broad, rounded at apex, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, somewhat shouldered at base; corona funnel-shaped, angled, deep reddish pink, mouth flared and wavy, with rim crenate.
