Fl. rounded; perianth segments roundish, very broad, blunt, yellow, with slight, white mucro, touched white at base, spreading, plane, smooth, with midrib slightly showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, broadly ovate, shouldered at base, scarcely mucronate; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, mouth expanded, creased, broadly ribbed and shallowly lobed, with rim crenate.
