Fl. rounded; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex and slightly truncate, prominently mucronate, snow white, spreading, a little concave, of waxy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments slightly inflexed; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellow, with a broad band of orange-red at rim, mouth with deep and overlapping lobes, frilled.
