Description |
Fl. rounded, 81 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex, brilliant greenish yellow 4A, with slight white mucro, touched creamy white at base, spreading, plane or with margins incurling at apex, smooth, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower, more nearly ovate, rounded at base, somewhat inflexed, with margins sometimes wavy; corona cylindrical, smooth, opening pale yellow (4D), soon becoming white, with the rim touched yellow, mouth expanded, deeply ribbed, lightly frilled, rim irregularly and more or less deeply notched and crenate. Mid-season. 2n=28 |
