Description |
Fl. up to 110 mm wide; perianth segments blunt, prominently mucronate, greenish white (slightly paler than 1D), spreading or a little reflexed, plane, overlapping a quarter to one-third; the inner segments a little more narrowly ovate; corona cup-shaped, smooth or loosely ribbed, opening light yellow 18B, becoming light yellowish pink 27B, with light yellow 18B at rim, frilled, with rim flanged and crenate; the corona enclosing six shorter segments of the same or a darker colour, sometimes similarly touched yellow at rim, broad, crumpled, lobed, with margins wavy and crenate; the segments each with one lobe longer than the corona, narrowly tubular, tapering, yellow-white. Mid-season. 2n=28. Resembles a Div. 4 `Champagne' |
