Description |
Fl. 104 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, mucronate, inflexed, somewhat creased, overlapping one-third; corona cylindrical, lightly ribbed, rich yellow, mouth more strongly ribbed and more or less widely expanded, with rim crenate. Early. 2n=22. Resembles a slightly earlier-flowering 'Empress' but is slower to multiply and has less substance to the perianth segments |
