Fl. 105 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, brilliant yellow 7A, with slight white mucro, a little reflexed, concave, with margins sometimes incurling, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, more nearly spreading; corona cup-shaped, straight-sided, ribbed towards mouth, slightly darker in tone than strong orange 25A, flushed towards mouth with a darker tone (28B), mouth straight, neatly frilled |
