Fl. rounded, 76 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, roundish, truncate, prominently mucronate, a little reflexed, concave, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, spreading or somewhat inflexed; corona disc-shaped, tightly ribbed, bright yellow, with a band of red at rim and the rim minutely crenate.
