Description |
Fl. rounded, about 70 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 3-4 whorls opposite one another, broadly ovate in outline, rounded or squarish at apex, white, sometimes touched green at apex, sometimes with a touch of yellow near base shading to dark green at base, with midrib prominent, overlapping a quarter to one-third; the outer whorl a little inflexed; the inner whorls not much shorter, successively more strongly inflexed; the centre whorl often with fewer than six segments, very strongly inflexed, with margins strongly incurved; corona segments minute, of irregular length and shape, yellow, sometimes with green at base, sometimes with white at apex. Late. Scented. 2n=14 |
