Description |
Fl. rounded, 98 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex and sometimes truncate, pale yellow, flushed with a darker tone at base, with slight white mucro, a little reflexed, plane, smooth and of thick substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower and more nearly spreading; corona bowl-shaped, broad, fiery orange, with a slightly darker tone at rim, narrowly ribbed, mouth a little frilled, sometimes split and overlapping, rim minutely crenate.
