Fl. forming a double triangle, 110 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, mucronate, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, opening reddish pink, becoming orange-red, with green at base, mouth straight and frilled, with rim crenate.
