Fl. 89 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt or somewhat truncate, slightly mucronate, spreading or a little reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more usually spreading; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, orange, with a deeper tone at rim, mouth expanded and wavy, with rim dentate.
