Fl. 90 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in more than three whorls, broadly ovate, blunt, bright yellow, overlapping half; the outer whorl mucronate, spreading, plane; the inner whorls less noticeably mucronate, inflexed, with margins more or less deeply incurved; corona segments interspersed among the inner whorls of petaloid segments, golden yellow.
