Description |
Fl. rounded; perianth segments broad in outline, squarish or truncate at apex, only slightly mucronate, slightly reflexed, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments appearing to be more nearly acute at apex, spathulate, with margins wavy and sometimes incurling; corona disc-shaped, ribbed, yellow in a narrow band at mid-zone, green and orange in broad bands at base and rim respectively, with rim entire.
