Description |
Fl. 90 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, mucronate, light greenish yellow 4C, spreading, with margins incurling, somewhat creased, of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments slightly narrower; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, vivid yellow 13A, shading to strong orange-yellow 17A at base, with orange-yellow showing as a narrow band at base outside and at rim, the rim quickly paling to vivid yellow, mouth flared, lobed and frilled, with rim flanged and crenate. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
