Fl. forming a double triangle, 117 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, vivid yellow 12A, with whitish mucro, spreading, plane, with margins minutely incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, somewhat truncate; corona funnel-shaped, short, smooth, vivid reddish orange 30A, mouth straight, wavy, with rim entire or minutely notched.
