Fl. rounded, 92 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls, with some extra segments at centre, broadly ovate in outline, blunt or somewhat mucronate at apex, vivid yellow 9A; corona yellow-orange (15A), overlapping half; the outer whorl with slight whitish mucro; the outer whorl and three of the second whorl spreading, with surface plane or somewhat concave; three of the second whorl and the centre segments inflexed, concave, with margins incurling; corona segments clustered among second whorl of petaloid segments and at centre, short, broad.
