Fls 2-5 per stem, star-shaped, 30 mm wide, mid- to deep yellow; perianth segments ovate or somewhat oblong in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, prominently mucronate, spreading, plane, separated or slightly overlapping; the inner segments not noticeably mucronate; corona very shallow bowl-shaped, smooth, slightly darker in tone than the perianth segments, mouth obscurely 3-lobed, even.
