Fls 1-2 per stem, 37 mm wide, vivid yellow 9A, facing down; perianth segments narrowly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, strongly reflexed, more or less twisted,, with margins sometimes recurved, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; corona cup-shaped, broadly ribbed, mouth straight, a little wavy, with rim obscurely crenate, margins entire.
