Description |
Fl. 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 40 mm long, roundish, very broad, vivid yellow 12A, with pale mucro, spreading, concave, with margins minutely incurled, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments ovate, blunt, less noticeably mucronate, somewhat inflexed, with margins wavy and midrib showing, creased; corona 30 mm long, split to base, the six segments in two whorls of three closely overlying the perianth segments and half their length and width, yellow, shading to orange (17B) in broad patches at margins, more or less heavily ribbed, deeply frilled. Mid-season. Sweetly scented |
