Fl. rounded, 88mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, roundish, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance; the outer whorls 38mm long, with margins incurved; the middle whorl a little inflexed; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, folded inwards from the midrib or crumpled; the corona segments half the length of the perianth segments, interspersed among the middle and inner perianth whorls, crumpled, folded and frilled.
