Fl. forming a double triangle, 98 mm wide; perianth segments 40 mm long, very broad, blunt, shouldered at base, yellow (3B), with white (155C) at base, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 35 mm long, funnel-shaped, ribbed, pink (26D), mouth flared and frilled, with rim dentate.
