Fl. 100 mm wide, facing down; perianth segments 40 mm long, roundish, shouldered at base, mucronate, light greenish yellow 3C, with a band of greenish white 155C at base, reflexed, convex, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona 43 mm long, funnel-shaped, lightly ribbed, opening pale yellow-green 4D, becoming white, mouth flared, frilled, split and overlapping in places, crenate.
