Fl. forming a double triangle, 105 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 45 mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, greenish white 157D, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, a little inflexed, concave; corona 45 mm long, funnel-shaped, regularly ribbed, opening light greenish yellow (8B/C), paling through 8D to become greenish white 157D, mouth expanded, lightly frilled, irregularly lobed, with rim crenate and narrowly flanged.
