Fl. star-shaped, 70 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 38 mm long, very narrowly ovate in outline, acute at apex, mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow 6A, reflexed, twisted, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments only slightly narrower; corona 40 mm long, cylindrical, smooth, vivid yellow 9A, mouth widely flared, regularly ribbed, wavy, with rim notched and crenate.
