Fl. 120mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls; the outer whorl roundish, very broad, with slight, pale mucro, spreading, a little concave, smooth, overlapping half or more; the middle whorl half the length of the outer segments, with margins incurled, a little inflexed; the inner whorl short, not very broad, deeply inflexed; corona segments one-third the length of the outer petaloid segments, interspersed among the inner whorls and clustered at centre, frilled and un-lobed
