Description |
Fl. 110mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls, pale orange-white (159D); the outer whorl 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, with margins incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments slightly narrower, shouldered at base; the inner whorl much shorter than the outer segments, deeply inflexed, folded inwards from midrib, with margins incurved; corona segments 25mm long, yellow-orange (17B), in two whorls; the outer whorl between the two whorls of perianth segments a little inflexed, slightly folded inwards from midrib, smooth and wavy; the inner whorl clustered at centre, deeply inflexed, heavily frilled and crenate. Mid-season. Sunproof. Sweetly scented |
