Fl. 98mm wide; perianth segments 38mm long, roundish, broad, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, broadly ovate; corona segments 26mm long, each closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, and of the same width as the perianth segments, deeply split, joined at margins at base, bi- or 3-lobed, with lobes overlapping, deeply ribbed, orange, touched olive-green at base, lightly frilled.
