Description |
Fl. 100mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 42mm long, in two whorls; the outer whorl broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, greenish white 155C, spreading, plane or with margins incurled, with narrow midrib showing, of heavy substance, irregular, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; the inner whorl inflexed, folded inwards from midrib; corona 25mm long, in several whorls, interspersed among the petaloid segments, strong yellowish pink 32C, broad, lobed and crumpled. The outer whorl may be entire when bulbs are young, but is fully double in older bulbs. Mid-season. Sunproof. Strongly scented |
