Fl. 125mm wide, facing slightly upwards, orange-yellow (13A); perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls; the outer whorls 50mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, concave, with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorl shouldered at base, a little inflexed; corona segments in several whorls interspersed among the petaloid segments; the inner segments successively shorter, more inflexed and clustered towards centre.
