Fls 2�3 per stem, forming a double triangle; perianth segments ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, opening pale yellow-green 4D becoming white (paler than greenish white 155A), spreading, plane, with margins incurling, creased and of membranaceous substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, shouldered at base, scarcely mucronate; corona split almost to base, the six segments half the length and almost the same width as the perianth segments and closely overlying them, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, wavy, opening vivid yellow 9A becoming light greenish yellow 6D.
