Fls 5-8 per stem, 48mm wide; perianth segments 20mm long, roundish, truncate or blunt, prominently mucronate, white with yellow tones at the margin, spreading, concave, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, with margins incurling or a little wavy, shouldered at base, scarcely mucronate; corona 8mm long, bowl-shaped, orange, sometimes becoming yellowish orange, mouth expanded, ribbed and lightly frilled, with rim minutely crenate.
