Border Bearded irises are rhizomatous herbaceous perennials to 70cm tall with flowers 10-13cm across in late spring and early summer, each fall petal bearing a prominent beard
'Orinoco Flow' is a vigorous perennial with glaucous green leaves and stems to 70cm, bearing up to 6 white flowers, both standards and falls finely speckled with violet, the beard white, tipped orange, and bordered with violet

Grow in well-drained, fertile, neutral to slightly acid loam in full sun
Propagate by division of rhizomes from midsummer to early autumn
City/Courtyard Gardens, Coastal, Cottage/Informal Garden, Flower borders and beds or Wall-side Borders
Remove any dying foliage in autumn, old flower stems can be cut down after flowering
May be attacked by slugs, snails and thrips
May be subject to iris rhizome rot, a leaf spot and a virus
