Hebe are evergreen shrubs or small trees, with paired, simple leaves and racemes or spikes of small, 4-lobed, tubular to salver-shaped flowers in summer and autumn

'Oratia Beauty' is an evergreen shrub to 75cm tall, with elliptic, glossy dark green leaves to 6cm long, and short racemes of pink buds opening to white flowers, giving a bicoloured effect
