Gazania can be annuals or evergreen perennials, of spreading habit, with lobed lance-shaped leaves and showy daisy-like flowers which close in dull weather

'Daybreak Garden Sun' is a spreading plant to 20cm, with narrow dark green leaves, white-hairy beneath, and orange-yellow flowers 8cm across, with a dark zone near the centre
