GROWING FOR SUCCESS TALK.
There are perennial kaleidoscopic opportunities to bring colour into your garden using the buds, flowers, leaves and edibles of fruit and nut bushes and trees. Then the ruby reds of chard or beetroot will happily mingle in any fertile part of the garden not forgetting that red and orange are better for you than white, when eating onions, sweet potatoes and sweet corn. As well as responding to touch, herbs season landscapes with taste, scent, colour and even sound as the bees buzz around them. With a little work, enjoy the taste of success with fruit and vegetables that won't waste your ground but will improve your waistline. The evening's menu includes designing, growing, history, maintenance and consumption.
