Jim England, now retired, was the Superintendant of the Trials department at Wisley for 13 years.
There are few greater delights than fresh, nutritious vegetables picked straight from your garden or allotment.
Today's workshop will include theoretical and practical sessions that will show you how to get the most from your plots. It will cover soils, bed systems, rotations, manuring, pests & diseases, tools, sowing, raking, planting and hoeing.
Today's course includes practical work outside.
