Learn the general principles of organic gardening and their practical application in your vegetable garden. Harlow Carr's Kitchen Gardener, Amy, will look at maintaining a healthy soil, the benefits of green manures and companion planting, as well as organic pest and disease control. The day will include a practical demonstration of setting up a compost bin and wormery.
