A one day introductory course aimed at those interested in all the different types of soft fruit, such as strawberries, currants and cane fruit. Join Clifford Cain - fruit expert and horticulture tutor - to find out how to select, grow and harvest your soft fruit and successfully combat the pests and diseases that are likely to spoil your crop. Clifford will present the theory with an illustrated talk and demonstrations. A tour of fruit growing at Harlow Carr will be included, so please dress appropriately for walking around the
